Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Zentro, or by signing up for Pro Early Access, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use Zentro.

Zentro is a desktop SQL IDE that runs locally on your machine. A cloud backend operated by Zentro manages license validation and subscription status. Zentro does not host your databases, store your queries, or have access to your data.

The app is currently available for Windows. macOS and Linux builds are in development. Features and availability may change during Early Access.

• Free — Core SQL IDE features are available to all users at no cost, with no time limit and no payment required. The Free tier is not a trial; it does not expire.
• Pro Early Access (PEA) — All Pro features are available at no cost during the Early Access period. An email address is required to activate PEA. The Early Access period ends on the date shown in the app; Pro features may require a paid subscription after that date.
• Pro (post-Early Access) — $9.9 per user per month, billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy. Subject to the pricing shown in the app at the time of subscription.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Zentro application
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with license enforcement mechanisms
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to Zentro to others
• Use Zentro for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Attempt unauthorized access to Zentro's backend systems or infrastructure
• Use Zentro to damage, disrupt, or interfere with any database or system you do not have permission to access

Pro subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, a third-party payment processor. Zentro does not store or process your payment card information. All billing, invoicing, and refund inquiries for paid subscriptions are handled through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

Early Access is free. No charge will occur until billing opens and you explicitly initiate a paid subscription. Early Access coupon codes issued during the Early Access period can be applied at the time of subscription.

Zentro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Early Access software is pre-release; it may contain bugs, incomplete features, or breaking changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, uptime, or data integrity.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zentro and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Zentro, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Zentro shall not exceed the amounts you have paid for Zentro in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. During Early Access, this cap is zero.

The Zentro application, including its source code, design, and branding, is the proprietary property of Nguyen Hoai Nam. Open source components included in Zentro retain their respective licenses. Use of Zentro does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Your data — including the databases you connect to, the queries you write, and any results — belongs entirely to you. Zentro claims no rights over your data.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Zentro if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using Zentro at any time by uninstalling the application.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and governing law — will do so.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved by direct negotiation between the parties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note material changes in the Zentro changelog. Continued use of Zentro after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
